#SundaySchool: How do I perfect my cross-country warm-up?
British event rider Flora Harris shares her tips for achieving a successful and beneficial pre-cross-country routine
27-year-old Flora Harris began riding professionally after she left school in 2007 and went to train with eventing specialist coach, Gill Watson.
Flora first rode for her country at the 2007 young rider European eventing Championships and jumped clear cross-country around Badminton Horse Trials on her first attempt in 2011.
Flora has received the call-up to represent Great Britain at the Longines FEI European eventing Championships at Blair Castle in 2015. Here she will ride her mother Caroline Harris and Rebecca Salt’s Bayano. Flora’s recent good form with Bayano includes winning Bramham CCI3* in 2015 and she was also second at Camphire CIC3* in 2014.
Flora is based in Wiltshire where she trains with Andrew Fletcher for dressage and her boyfriend Jeremy Scott for jumping.
