Actress Susan George is new president of the Arab Horse Society
Actress and Arab breeder Susan George took over as president of the Arab Horse Society at its annual meeting yesterday (10 April)
The Arab horse has a distinctive head shape and high tail carriage. It is also one of the oldest breeds in the world. Today, Arabian bloodlines are found in almost every modern breed of riding horse, with many showing classes also dedicated to the part bred Arab. Usually standing between 14.1 to 15 hh, the pure bred has also developed a strong following in the show ring, and are also a popular choice of endurance horse.
