Willerby Hill 148cm pony premier jumping show


  • Trilbie Cook and George Whitaker took the John Whitaker International Winter JA Classic honours at the final 148cm Premier Show of the series at Willerby Hill.

    George and Miami Bound won Saturday’s class ahead of the already qualified Danielle Willett (New York Skyline) and Carian Scudamore (Cappagh Supreme).

    The following day Trilbie Cook produces a copybook round from Kadia Mouche. Danielle Willett (Gold Harvest), George Whitaker (Loobeen Shamrock), Emma Stoker (Tick Tock Two Tone) and Stevie Jenkins (Caramel II) took the lower placings.

    Dan Thompson clinched his Hickstead place when First And Last headed Saturday’s winter JC, ahead of Alice Palmer (Okehurst Quicksilver) and Katie Wood (Muscovite II).

    The following day Oliver Evans and Birchill Dessie claimed victory, with qualification for Carian Scudamore (Revenue) and Jessie Smith (Technicolour II).

    Rachel Connor and Emerald Reward found the shortest route in the Blue Chip Sparkle JC/JA to pip Richard Jones on Costello’s Boy.

    Toby Gardner dominated the Kitt-Kraiburg Junior Coral taking first and second with BH Iroko and Fabian V.
