Show jumper Belotti retires

  • Paul Bevan’s faithful servant and “horse of a lifetime” Belotti, now 17-year-old and with numerous wins both nationally and abroad to his credit, has now been retired.

This exceptional horse carried Paul on all his debuts, from winning his first International Trial to heading a prestigious International class at Wembley.

Bred in Holland by Ina van Willegan out of a Dressage mare and by the legendary sire Farn, “Blitz” was purchased from Paul Hendrix in 1988 and made his first Wembley appearance the following year in the Newcomers Final.

A regular contender at the Horse of the Year Show since, the charasmatic bay has winnings topping 48,000 and will now spend his days in the paddocks of his Staffordshire home near Lichfield.
