Ownership of showjumpers to be decided by judge

  • A High Court judge will decide who owns three showjumpers allegedly stolen in 2008.

Joelle Triplot and Mercedes Destine say Mouche, Liago and Caretanne were taken from Belgium, in December 2008.

The horses were aquired by Joan Whetter, in Breaston, Derbys, who is not accused of any involvement in theft.

On 14 January Judge Peter Thornton reserved his decision in the case until a later date.
