Milton’s owner Dorren Bradley dies, aged 88

  • Doreen Bradley, the mother of the late show jumper Caroline Bradley, has died aged 88.

Following Caroline’s early death in 1983, her parents Doreen and Tom became owners of Caroline’s string of horses, which included the great Milton.

Eventually, the ride was given to John Whitaker with whom Milton became show jumping’s first £1million-earning horse.

Mrs Bradley’s funeral was held at Priors Marston Church, Warwickshire, where Tom and Caroline are also buried, on Monday 28 January.
