Simon Crippen and Laura Renwick netted the tickets to the Horse & Hound Foxhunter final at BSJA Area 38s show at Newbury.
Tjelke L came to the fore for Simon, while Beluga has given Laura the chance to defend the title she took last year on Limelight De Breve. Rowan Willis narrowly missed out in third with Selina S.
Tina Fletcher won the Premier Prospects Grand Prix on Lauras Choice to take home the £2,000 first prize. John Popely finished second on the Belgian-bred Tristan. John Crippen edged Just Jerry into third, repeating their Area Trial placing of the previous day.
Caroline Webley triumphed in the Premier Prospects Area Trial on Joan Willettss Barrister QC, ahead of Tina Fletcher (Overa) and John Crippen (Just Jerry). Caroline also headed the B and C with Barrister QCs half-sister, Alibi III.
In an exciting ladies jump-off, Mandy Goosen and Little Tinka snatched the lead from Tina Fletcher on Lauras Choice, but Caron Nicol then outpaced them both with Fantasia.
