Andrew Hamilton and Andrew Davies clinched their tickets to the Horse & Hound Foxhunter final, leading from the front at Scope UKs summer fixture at South View Equestrian Centre.
Fourteen of the 74 starters went forward to the final round. With a high-class field following him, Andrew Davies and Wonderful Melody Van De Helle set a blistering pace and left all the fences standing. But Andrew Hamilton’s ride, Top Limit, answered every call to narrowly take the class.
No other combination could come close, but another chance at the BSJA Scope Festival went to Jamie Gornall (Corritina), David Clarkson (Conquistador II) and Vicky Bevan (Tino II) respectively.
