Farewell to… pony showjumping trainer Harvey Kaye


  • The pony showjumping trainer Harvey Kaye died on 17 August aged 64.

    A family friend of the Smiths, Harvey Kaye trained Robert Smith when he was younger, often accompanying him to pony shows while Robert’s father Harvey was away competing internationally.

    Mr Kaye, who was based in Lancashire, had been suffering from stomach cancer.
