Eric Lamaze to ride Derly Chin De Muze at Olympics

  • Canadian showjumper Eric Lamaze will ride Derly Chin De Muze at the Olympics. After two refusals at Spruce Meadows, it was speculated that he might choose his other horse, Verdi, for the Games.

But it was confirmed that he would jump the nine-year-old mare Derly Chin De Muze in smaller classes in the run up to the Games and that the partnership would go to Greenwich.

The horse is owned by Eric and Ashland Farms, who were co-owners of his late Olympic champion, Hickstead.
