The BSJA’s highest award for performance stallions has been awarded to Ocombo de l’Eau, after he represented Britain in a senior nations cup competition in Poland recently. He is the first coloured stallion to be awarded the gold disk.
The BSJA currently has 18 gold disk stallions registered on its elite stallion list, including Arko III, AK Locarno and Marius Claudius. Ocombo de l’Eau owned by Diana Cornish and Pennie Cornish, who also own Marius Claudis.
The Belgian skewbald stallion has been enjoying considerable success with his young rider partner Ryan Prater. They were part of the winning Young Rider Nations Cup Team in Compiegne, France and were placed third in the senior nations cup Poznan in Poland, producing a clear round in the first round, followed by four faults in the second.
