British Showjumping to reduce board to eight members

  • British Showjumping members have voted to reduce the size of the board from 22 to eight people.

At the organisation’s AGM at Scope on 30 August, members voted by 279 to 26 to change the constitution.

Chief executive Iain Graham had urged members to back the changes, to secure funding from UK Sport in the run up to the Rio Olympics in 2016 (news, 30 August).

An elected members’ council will approve the new board.
