Britain confirms Super League entry


  • The British Show Jumping Association has confirmed Britain’s participation in the 2006 Samsung Super League Season. All eight qualified teams have confirmed their entries, including the newly promoted Sweden.

    Britain’s top show jumpers will now prepare to meet France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland and the USA at the first leg of the Super League, held at La Baule, France (4 May- 7 May).

    The FEI Samsung Super League competition takes place at the world’s eight most prestigious horse shows and feature the world’s eight best national teams. Each season participating season nations run the risk of relegation to the FEI Nations Cup Series. Sweden was promoted to Super League status after the final event in Barcelona last September when Belgium which was relegated.
