BEF and BSJA to fight relegation from Meydan Nations Cup

  • The British Equestrian Federation (BEF) is to appeal against the International Equestrian Federation’s (FEI) decision to relegate both Team GB and the Belgians from the 2010 Nations Cup competition.

In a statement the BEF said: “Following the FEI’s announcement that both Great Britain and Belgium, as well as Italy, will be relegated from the 2010 FEI Nations Cup Top League, the British Equestrian Federation does not accept that decision and will be defending Britain’s place in the league.

“The federation, in conjunction with the British Show Jumping Association, will be appealing against the decision.”
