The competitive world of children’s showing is examined in a documentary on Sky 1 next week (11 July).
Show Ponies centres around the fortunes of three families at the BSPS Summer Championships 2011.
The hour-long programme follows the Eddis sisters Lucy and Susie as they contest working hunter classes, Kinvara Garner and her show pony Basford Playboy and Tristan Chandler and his Welsh section A Heniarth Cupcake.
A spokesman for Sky said the documentary, part of the Great Little Britons series, “shone a light on some of the nation’s most dedicated perfectionists”.
Show Ponies is on Sky 1 and Sky 1 HD on 11 July at 8pm.
