Grassroots riders who have not competed at Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) before could now have the chance to ride at the NEC.
Ponies(UK) is one of six organisations chosen to select a competitor for the HOYS “Master Class”.
The master class will be held on 6 October at HOYS. It will give six riders who he chance to take part in “the world’s most famous horse show” and get advice from top show judges.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for home-produced riders that have never competed at HOYS and own either a riding horse or hack to go to HOYS and experience the magic,” said a spokesman for P(UK).
In order to choose a rider Ponies(UK) has organised a special master class selection competition, to be held on Saturday 11 August exclusively for home-produced horses.
The competition is open to everyone who falls under the P(UK) home-produced definition and owns a riding horse or hack and has never competed at HOYS.
Entry is free and competitors do not have to be a member of P(UK) to compete in the master class selection.
