HOYS workers may not contest 15hh and intermediate classes

  • Horse of the Year Show showing competitors will have to choose for the first time which section they wish to contest between intermediate or 15hh working hunter classes.

Previously competitors could qualify for and contest both sections. Now if they qualify for the 15hh working hunters and accept that qualifying ticket, they cannot accept the ticket if they also qualify for the intermediate workers, and vice versa.

There will be 21 qualifying places for the intermediates — in line with the three worker height sections — up from 15.
