Although these boots might not be to everyone's taste, our reviewer found them to be robust and great value
Being a massive fan of zebras I was excited to try these boots on my ex-racehorse — and I wasn’t disappointed.
The boots themselves are very lightweight and fit very well.
They’re very hard-wearing and provide good protection when jumping and hacking out, on performance I couldn’t really fault them.
They have single lock straps so are quick and easy to put on. Once on they are very secure.
Several months in and the Velcro fastenings are still as good as new, a problem I’ve had in the past with other boots.
They’re not a design for the shy and they’re not to everyone’s taste. They’ve attracted lots of attention and comments from others on my yard, many using the adjective “snazzy”, which I think is a compliment….
When they became a bit muddy the white part did stain a little, but will probably brighten up with a thorough wash rather than a quick hose down.
I would definitely recommend them — from a practical point they work well and deliver all you’d want from a boot, while being fun and a change from a regular black pair. And at £22 they are a good price that won’t break the bank.
Verdict
Hard-wearing, good value boots that I would recommend
