Walter Haefner, a stalwart of Irish racing and breeding has died at the age of 101.
Mr Haefner, who founded the Moyglare Stud in Co Kildare, Ireland, 50 years ago, died in his native Switzerland on 19 June.
His famous winners as an owner-breeder include Go And Go (1999 Belmont Stakes) and Refuse To Bend, winner of the 2000 Guineas in 2003.
