British Racing School hosts National Hunt amateur riders course

  • A new course for National Hunt amateur riders is being hosted by the British Racing School (BRS).

The 5-day course aims to improve the riding technique and style of amateurs, as well as enhancing their knowledge of the industry.

Students will receive daily simulator training with a jockey coach — which is filmed and reviewed as well as a half-day’s schooling with Olympic equestrian coach Yogi Breisner.

The course also includes fitness assessments and nutrition classes.

Duncan Gregory from the BRS said: “This is an ideal choice for the budding amateur rider, keen to improve their own performance and technique.”

The course will be held on 9-13 February in Newmarket.
