Swish has created the Fly-Turnout Rug to combat the challenge of keeping your horse dry and the flies at bay.
This lightweight turnout rug is combined with a fly sheet, to provide a barrier between flies and protection from the rain.
“As horse owners, we know what ‘summer’ can be like, and that’s why we created this rug,” said Vanessa Paver from Swish Equestrian.
“The rug is designed to help protect your horse from flies and insects on showery or cooler summer days, and we also think it’s great for horses that live out 24/7. The turnout section helps to keep the horse dry, whilst the mesh section protects from flies as it keeps the horse cool.”
The rug has a waterproof top section, Swish’s new mesh material sides, large shoulder gussets, double chest fasteners, belly pad, large tail flap, elasticated/detachable leg straps and a removable neck cover that has a nylon-lined panel to protect the mane and two fleece-lined ear holes to help prevent the neck section from slipping back.
The Fly-Turnout Rug is available in red/silver in sizes 5’0-7’6”. It has a RRP of £61.99, but is currently available for £51.99.
