A “revolutionary” fly rug from US brand Kensington Rugs is now available to buy in the UK.
The Kensington European Cut Textilene Protective Sheet – made from 1000×2000 denier weave mesh fabric — can either be used on its own as a fly sheet or as a protective top layer to extend your turn out rug’s life expectancy, says the company.
As well as keeping flies at bay, Kensington Rugs claims that the sheet blocks more than 70% of harmful UV rays and will withstand sun bleaching, mildew, soiling and wear and tear, “even in the most extreme weather conditions”.
Featuring elasticated cross surcingles, detachable leg straps and belly band, the rug costs £116 and is available from online retailers Shadow Horse.
