Kauto Star looked ready for his new career in dressage at Kempton Park on Boxing Day, sporting some fancy white dressage boots.
Kauto was parading before the King George VI Chase, which he won for a record fifth time in 2011.
It was his first public appearance with his new rider, Laura Collett. And he was wearing Kentucky Horsewear Solimbra D30 dressage boots.

D3O is patented technology, which has long been used within protective clothing and footwear, including motorcycling clothing, sportswear and even stunt apparel.
The lightweight UV resistant boots also feature a laminated outer, which offers all-weather protection.
Available in both front (£125) and hind (£120), the boots come in white. Union flag also removable.
