    How to get there

    Well signposted from the A96.

    What the organisers say

Dressage and showjumping will be in the usual places with flat dressage arenas on grass and a big grass arena for showjumping with lots of decoration and atmosphere. There are large, flat warm-up areas for all classes.

Colin Hexley is the course-designer for the showjumping and there is a 50x50m warm-up ring close to the arena. Every phase is within walking distance of the main showground.

For the cross-country (designed by Polly Lochore, with influence from her sons!) much work goes into keeping the courses different for each event. Hills and a variety of fences ensure an excellent educational outing for all levels.

A huge number of volunteers help make these events what they are. The aim is to give everyone the maximum amount of fun in these glorious surroundings.

    What the riders say

Dressage & showjumping — “A friendly event and great for young horses and first-timers.” “Dressage is away from the busy areas and there is a large warm up.” “The showjumping is held in the main arena at the centre of show and there is a big warm-up area.”

Cross-country — “The course had changed again from the previous two events last season.” “It is a very hilly course, a fair test, and the ground is well maintained.” “Not such a busy event, so it’s great for young horses.”
