    How to get there

Postcode EH22 2NA. From the Edinburgh city bypass Sherriffhall roundabout follow the A68 (Jedburgh) to the centre of Dalkeith. Then follow the signs for the horse trials.

    What the organisers say

Dalkeith Park is only five miles from Edinburgh city centre and is easily accessible for riders and spectators alike.

Dressage is set in front of the stunning palace on good old turf, providing excellent footing. Showjumping is set in old parkland alongside the lorry park, which is served with a hard track.

New ground has been secured for 2015 and the new water jump has been completed, along with a few other fixed cross-country fences.

David Evans is our new course-designer and is using the ground to provide maximum distance tracks. The terrain is mainly flat over good old turf.

Riders should be aware the cross-country is a five-minute walk from the lorry park.
Spectators will be able to view large areas of the course from various vantage points.
