Yet another win for British vaulter Joanne Eccles

  • The Eccles family celebrated at Wiesbaden, Germany, last weekend (22-23 May) after European vaulting champion Joanne took the female title on her own horse WH Bentley, lunged by her father John Eccles.

Joanne finished ahead of Antji Hill and Simone Wiegele from Germany.

And Hannah Eccles, Joanne’s sister, finished fourth just behind the two Germans.

Both girls head straight to Belgium from Wiesbaden for the new international CVI (29-30 May), where they will compete in both the individual class and the pas-de-deux together.
