World Equestrian Games attracts entries from 58 countries

  • National equestrian federations for 58 countries have submitted nominated entries for the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.

The entries list currently includes more than 900 athletes and over 1,300 horses, but this is likely to reduce when the confirmed entries are submitted in mid September.

Four nations are currently planning to field athletes for all eight disciplines — Australia, Canada, Germany and the United States — with 19 nations entering teams or individual competitors in five or more disciplines.

Britain is planning to send teams and individuals to contest seven of the eight sports at the World Equestrian Games, but will not be represented in the driving competition.
