World Equestrian Games 2014 tickets go on sale

  • Some tickets for next year’s World Equestrian Games (WEG) in France are now on sale.

The event, which is to be held in Normandy on 23 August until 7 September, includes eventing, dressage, showjumping, vaulting, para dressage, driving, reining and endurance.

Tickets in the second stage — for the general public — went on sale on Monday (18 November) and organisers say 50% of the 15,000 passes were sold in the first 24hr. 150,000 tickets have now been sold.

200,000 places will remain allocated for the third and final stage of the ticketing operation, where the tickets will be sold individually at the start of March 2014.

However, some H&H readers have had problems buying tickets — citing confusion on the website, not being able to get the tickets they want, or the website being down.
