Aachen’s decision to add eventing and vaulting to the line-up for the World Equestrian Festival this summer (3-8 July) appears to have been a good one.
With 100 days still to go before the opening ceremony, 150,000 tickets have already been sold for the event.
The show began in 1929 and has for many years included show jumping, dressage and driving. Eventing and vaulting were added to the event after they were run at last year’s World Equestrian Games at the German venue.
