Woman found dead at The Hand Equestrian Centre

  • A woman has been found dead at The Hand Equestrian Centre in North Somerset.

Police told H&H the body of a woman, believed to be in her 50s, was found at the show centre in Davis Lane, Clevedon on yesterday (Sunday 18 March).

“We received a call at 10.15am that a body had been found and attended the scene,” said a spokesman for Avon and Somerset police.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious and has been referred to a coroner.”

The woman has not yet been named but is thought to have been a groom who was working for one of the riders at the Premier Show.

The Hand declined to comment to H&H.
