Congratulations to Horse & Hound’s lucky winner Elaine Cramond from Ware, Herts, who can’t wait to head off on her fabulous trip to the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG), thanks to the event’s first-ever title sponsor Alltech and official UK feed partner Baileys Horse Feeds.
Elaine will be flying out to Kentucky on 29 September with her boyfriend Simon Humphreys to enjoy all four days of the eventing competition, plus the grand prix freestyle dressage. They will also take a tour of the Alltech Brewing & Distilling Co during their stay.
“I am very excited. I couldn’t quite believe I’d won when I heard,” she said. “I’m really looking forward to watching the cross-country, while Simon is looking forward to the distillery tour!”
Elaine is an eventing fan, having previously competed to BE novice level, and is planning to return to the sport later this year with her current horse. But she decided to donate her three months of feed from Baileys Horse Feeds to her mother’s 30-year-old pony Maid Marion, who lives at the family home in Scotland.
“Baileys has given us some really useful advice on what to feed the old girl, and I can’t wait to see how she gets on with her new feeding regime,” said Elaine.
Elaine also wins Baileys/WEG branded clothing and an Alltech WEG saddlecloth.
The 10 runners-up, who each won a £20 Baileys feed voucher, Baileys/WEG branded clothing and an Alltech WEG saddlecloth, are:
- Ceri Tupper from Ross-on-Wye
