Watch the Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillary Musical Drive next week

  • The public is invited to watch the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery Musical Drive next Monday — for free.

At 11am on Monday (19 April), the world-famous musical drive will go through its paces in Regents Park, London, under the watchful eye of Major General William Cubitt, the General Officer Commanding the Household Division.

Major Gen William Cubbitt will conduct his annual inspection of the troop at Gloucester Green in the north-eastern corner of Regent’s Park, near London Zoo.

The Troop — supported by the Band of the Royal Artillery — will perform a six-gun musical drive, march past the inspecting officer and then ride back to St John’s Barracks via St John’s Wood High Street.

Members of the public are invited to gather on footpaths on Gloucester Green in Regents Park.
