Wormer manufacturer Virbac has been named as the main sponsor of next year’s BETA International — the British Equestrian Trade Association’s annual industry showcase.
Virbac — which produces Equimax and Eraquell — will also sponsor a ring at Hickstead’s DFS Derby meeting (23-27 June) and Royal International Horse Show (27 July -1 August) this year.
Callum Blair of Virbac said: “The Equimax/Eraquell ring will both host classes for professional, amateur and young riders, meaning that Virbac is supporting a wide range of competitions and we are delighted to be involved with two such prestigious events.”
And he added: “We see sponsorship of BETA International as an opportunity to raise awareness of our wormer brands and parent company.”
Virbac takes over the BETA mantle from Abbey Saddlery and Crafts, who sponsored the convention for three years.
