HAROLD Haraldsen, of Cumbria Riding Club, has been chosen as the EquestrianClearance.com Unsung Hero of the Year.
Harold ‘s daughter Helen nominated him for the award. She wanted him recognised for the work he puts in at the riding club, which includes running a club night every fortnight.
Said Helen: “He’s been doing this for a long time asking for nothing in return. He is always willing to help people and it is time that he sees how much he is appreciated.”
As well as supporting the riding club, Harold has also spent hour after helping daughter Helen.
When Helen bought an unbroken three-year-old, Harold assisted with every aspect and walked miles long reining the youngster and keeping an eye on them both when hacking out.
Harold won £250 to spend online at EquestrianClearance.com rewarding him for all his hard work and many years of dedication.
