Some of the world’s top polo players will compete in the Gaucho International Polo on 24 February at London’s O2 Arena.
Riders from Britain, South Africa and Argentina — including eight-goaler Nacho Figueras and nine-goaler Chris Hyde — will compete in three matches in front of an expected 10,000-strong crowd.
Teams of three players, rather than the usual four, will compete on a reduced size pitch.
Play begins at 2pm with an exhibition match, followed by games between Scotland and South Africa and England and Argentina.
A celebrity match has also been announced, although the names of celebrities have not yet been released.
In between matches will be polo displays, fashion shows and live music.
Spectators will be able to try the sport for themselves and buy all the kit.
For £25 extra each they can join the polo players after the event an Indigo, a 2,500 capacity nightclub inside the O2 arena.
