Teenage showjumper dies after fall at show


  • A teenage girl who was injured in a fall while competing at the weekend (Sunday, 27 January) has died in hospital.

    Ella Pallister, who was 17, fell from her horse in the warm-up arena at a British Showjumping (BS) affiliated show at Kingston Maurward, Dorset, at about 12pm on Sunday.

    She was taken to hospital by air ambulance, but died yesterday (Wednesday, 30 January).

    BS and Kingston Maurward have extended their condolences to her family.
