Sun applies to Gray trial judge for photos of dead horses to be released

  • The James Gray trial has been adjourned until Monday while district judge Andrew Vickers, sitting at Bicester Magistrates’ Court, considers an application from the Sun newspaper.

The paper has asked if photographs and video evidence shown in court during the case can be released to the public.

James Gray, 45, his wife Julie, 41, and daughter Cordelia, 20, all of Spindle Farm, Amersham, and daughter Jodie, 26, of Park Road, Ashford, Middlesex, all deny 10 counts of causing unnecessary suffering to an animal, and two counts of neglecting an animal’s welfare.

A 15-year-old boy, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, faces the same charges.
