Strangles vaccine made available for use

  • Europe’s only licensed strangles vaccine — Equilis Strep E — returns to the market this month and is being released in conjunction with veterinary training.

Drug company Intervet/Schering-Plough has been running a series of workshops for vets, explaining how the vaccine should be used as part of their armoury against the infectious bacterium.
