The British squad for the Aachen Top Level FEI Nations Cup has been announced.
Rob Hoekstra, the World Class performance manager for showjumping has announced that Scott Brash, Nick Skelton, Michael Whitaker, Guy Williams and Ellen Whitaker will all travel to Germany.
The show runs from 12-17 July, with the Nations Cup taking place on Thursday 14 July at 7.30pm. The Grand Prix starts on Sunday 17 July at 1pm.
Scott will ride his father Stanley’s 12-year-old gelding, Intertoy Z. Nick will ride Beverley Widdowson’s 10-year-old grey gelding Carlo. Ellen will ride Equimax Ocolado, a horse her father Steven jointly owns with Equimax and Dawn Makin and Michael will ride Beatrice Merten’s World Cup Qualifying horse Amai II. Britain’s number one Guy Williams will partner Lindsay Doran’s eight-year-old grey gelding, Depardieu Vant Kiezelhof.
