Show jumper Jessica Kurten’s date with the FEI tribunal

  • IRISH show jumper Jessica Kurten is to face an International Equestrian Federation (FEI) tribunal committee at Lausanne on 21 February.

Jessica had accused the FEI of “gross procedural errors” after tests from her horse, Castle Forbes Maike, were found positive for the banned anti-inflammatory drug Etoricoxib.

She called for a tribunal after claiming news of her case was leaked to the media “indiscreetly”, and that an independent analyst should have been allowed to witness the testing of the second sample.
