Seven horses die in US barn fire


  • Seven horses have died in a barn fire in the US state of Maryland.

    The horses were stabled at The Royal Equestrian Centre in Chesapeake City when a blaze broke out at about 3.30pm on Sunday (27 September).

    Seventy-five firefighters attended the fire, which is reported to have caused $1m (£630,000) worth of damage.

    The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
