See exclusively equestrian art in London this summer

  • Horse lovers can gather at the Mall Galleries in London to study the work of their favourite equine artists.

The Society of Equestrian Artists is holding its annual exhibition from 14-19 July, with channel four racing presenter, Mike Cattermole, opening the event at a private view on 15 July.

Around 100 artists will be exhibiting over 300 works from classical in style, to contemporary. The exhibition will take in all levels, from enthusiastic amateurs to professional equestrian artists.

All works are for sale — with the society promising something for everyone — and there is no charge on entry.

Exhibition co-ordinator Nicole Langstaff told H&H: “The Society of Equestrian Artists was formed in 1979 to encourage the study of equine art and to nurture young talent.

“There are 500 members of the society, including many of the world’s top equestrian artists who encourage and support the younger members,”
