Riders selected for BEF’s World Class Programme

  • The riders selected to be nurtured on the British Equestrian Federation’s World Class Programme for 2009-2011 have been announced.

The bi-annual selections for dressage, eventing, show jumping and para-equestrianism are made from riders invited to viewing trials.

The chosen riders receive health fitness and nutritional support for them and their horses and training and regular squad sessions.

World Class Performance director Will Connell said: “The standard of riding continues to improve year on year. A number of riders have been reselected but excitingly some new faces have appeared, indicating that the selection process is consistent and fair.”
