Redwings Horse Sanctuary hosts children’s TV presenters Dick and Dom

  • A visit by children’s television presenters Dick and Dom to Redwings Horse Sanctuary is televised on CBBC on Friday (25 February) at 8am.

The Dick & Dom Go Wild series will go behind the scenes to show young viewers what goes on at the UK’s largest horse sanctuary.

The episode features two children meeting a one-eyed horse being scoped for Strangles, mucking out and getting their first taste of riding.

Redwings horses Noel, Tinker and Gladiator play starring roles.

Nicola Markwell of Redwings said the episode was “great fun to film”.

“A lot of children come to our visitor centres and love our residents so we are confident the wider CBBC audience will really enjoy a closer look at Redwings,” she added.

“As we rely totally on public support, we’re grateful to have been included.”
