Pony’s leg cut off in travellers’ feud

  • Three ponies have died in Waterford, Southern Ireland, after attacks that are thought to be related to a feud in the travellers’ community.

Gardai are investigating a vicious attack in the Williamstown area of the city early this morning (18 December), where two ponies received slash wounds to their legs, one so severe the back leg was completely severed.

Another horse discovered in the Ballybeg estate in the city last night with similar injuries also had to be put down.
