Polly Williamson to do Bath half marathon

  • Former event rider Polly Williamson — who suffered a severe head injury in 2011 — is planning to complete the Bath half marathon in March.

Polly hopes to run “with a lot of walking” in aid of the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit in Frenchay Hospital, Bristol. She was a patient for 3 months, following a schooling fall at home.

“I spent my first 2 months in a wheelchair, but even with my poor balance they got me walking again,” she told H&H.
