Olympic flame will travel to Cheltenham racecourse next May


  • The Olympic flame will be stopping off at Cheltenham racecourse on its tour of the UK.

    On 23 May 2012, when the Olympic flame arrives in Gloucestershire, the racecourse will hold an evening celebration.

    The torch – which will be lit in Greece – will travel the 8,000 miles by different methods of transport. This will include by bicycle, tram, steam-train and horseback.
