Now that’s what we call a commute! Ride to work day proves popular


  • Have you ever thought how much better your day would be if you could start it by riding your horse to work?

    Well, horse lovers in China will be doing exactly that this week, in a bid to promote a more environmentally friendly means of transport.

    Around 1,500 people in more than a dozen cities across the country will take part, riding along planned routes to show that horsepower is an attractive and green form of travel.

    “We are promoting an environmentally friendly concept that doesn’t consume gasoline or create exhaust, as cars do,” said Wu Gangfang, founder of www.horse.org.cn, who first came up with the idea.
