The Pony Club has announced that Robinsons will sponsor the Prince Phillip Cup for 2002
Robinsons is to sponsor The Pony Club Prince Philip Cup in 2002. The company has agreed a five-figure deal, which will also include sponsorship of The Pony Club’s other mounted games trophy which is to be re-named The Robinsons Trophy.
Both trophies will be presented at the finals of the competitions will be held at The Horse of the Year Show at the show’s new NEC venue in October.
Robinsons, one of the UK’s largest equestrian retailers, will become the sole UK supplier for all Pony Club books and guides. They will also actively promote the benefitsof joining The Pony Club across all its customer communications.
Jim Bentham, managing director of Robinsons said: “I believe we have a great opportunity to influence the growth of equestrian activities across the UK by working together withThe Pony Club”.
Gordon Wesley, chairman of The Pony Club also welcomed the deal: “I am delighted that Robinsons have joined The Pony Club ‘family’ and look forward to working with them to promote the enjoyment of riding in all its many forms.”
