Olympic event rider Mary King’s new DVD is set to be launched at Badminton Horse Trials next week.
Enjoying Cross Country with Mary King will be launched in the World of the Horse Pavilion at this year’s event (7-10 May). The DVD features Olympic event rider Mary spending the day at newly reopened cross-country schooling facility, Bicton Arena in Devon.
During the film Mary demonstrates techniques and passes on helpful riding tips.
The chapters in the training programme including getting ready – horse and rider, warming up, the first fence, ditch and rail, on the turn, water, and jumping up and down.
A number of different fences and combinations are jumped making it relevant to anyone who wants to ride across country — whether at an event or on the hunting field.
As well as the DVD launch the World of the Horse pavilion will also host interviews and autograph signings with top event riders including Mary King, William Fox Pitt and Clayton and Lucinda Fredericks.
